Salvaged Silky and a monster production line!

These are a few of my new 'Wearable Art' brooches. They're made using this amazing salvaged silky oak that's really old and really hard. I love the grain of silky and it's really quite nice to work with.....it just cuts, you know. These 'Wearable Art' brooches are hand coloured by me and then sealed to create a durable finish.

I made this one using some really, really old salvaged red cedar. It's so incredibly rich and dark which suited my little afro chick sketch perfectly.

And this is just a little peak at the PJ the Jammie Eater production line that's going on at the moment for the BiM (BrisStyle Indie Market) on March 6. These dudes have eyes now and are just waiting for me to get off my butt and sew their horns and heads together!
