My biggest boy turned 5 yesterday. Wow! I still can't quite believe how quickly this last 5 years has gone. It's certainly been a whirlwind for me and Mr Jetta's Nest. We celebrated with some good friends and a special little girly friend who turns 5 on the same day.

Biggest boy also started Prep last week and he's really enjoying it which I'm so relieved about. I know it's early days but I was kinda worried he'd hate it so I'm really stoked when he is excited about going.


Now that everythings settled down I'll be gearing up for the start of what's looking to be a very busy year kicking off with the first BIM (BrisStyle Indie Market) on March 6!!

    I am glad he is enjoying school. It should be an enjoyable year for all kids and it is so disappointing when it is not.

  5. What a gorgeous photo of your birthday boy. All this and Prep as well - what a week.

    My little granddaughter in Sydney came home from her second day at Kindergarten (Prep)today and informed her mother that the teacher said they would all be staying at school all night tomorrow night, which has thrown my daughter into all sorts of confusion. I advised her to pack her jammies just in case. My advice was not apprecited!
