I'm trying to get my act together and get a bit more organised in my approach to my sewing. Even when I think I'm organised, I'm not. I should be because I'm a Virgo but I think I might just be good at organising stuff that doesn't particularly matter like my collection of thrifted teacups or all our CD's in alphabetical order.
After talking to the very organised Katie (Kitty Boo Boo) I've become inspired to get into the groove of a production line and not only that, I've organised things into neat piles (on top of messy piles) of thread colour! I hear the gasps of horror....hang on that was me.
I've got a lovely stack of Sunnyboy Bags all pinned to matching zippers awaiting the sewing machine and next I plan to attack some tops and shorts. I just keep getting sidetracked by the super monster t-shirts I'm dying to make or the gorgeous new gummed watercolour paper pad I spoiled myself with the other day and now I'm sitting here instead of sewing..........Yikes!!!
Why do people think virgos are supposed to be so damn tidy?! I most certainly am not, and never have been, but, I believe we are in the same boat... I've always been partly excused by the fact that I am "arty" or "creative", traits, apparently, commonly associated with messyness, that obviously outweigh the vigos need for order.
