BrisStyle Indie Designers Market ROCKED!!!

The BIDM on Saturday was absolutely fantastic! It's now two days later and I'm still feeling excited by how great it was. Everyone's stalls and wares were of a super high standard and I really loved being part of such a diverse and creative team.

The crowds were awesome and really friendly. The music was just to my taste and the cupcakes....well what more needs to be said other than they were sold out by 10am! Oh my goodness, the caramel ones are to die for!!

( Jettas Nest tees and tops)

I'm completely overwhelmed by the response I got to the things I make. I completely sold out of Cuddlebots and Russian Skittle girls and I've only got one Bloomin' Buttonhead Brooch and 2 Sunnyboy bags left! I took Crackerjack Armslong along for the day and he got snapped up too, in fact the gentleman who bought him actually paid more for him than what I priced him at cos he thought he was so great!

(Peridot Gingernut doll, Cuddlebots and Russian Skittle Girls)

In fact, the tees and tops were a great success too and now I've got lots of busy days and nights ahead of me as I build up my stock again.

I'll be working hard on perfecting my dolls in the next couple of months as I got lots of interest in the one I took along (Peridot Gingernut in the picture above). To my surprise I even sold quite a few of the little cards that I made. All in all it was an amazing day. Totally overwhelming and and just really, really great!

I bought myself a few goodies too. A Peppermint Magazine subscription, some super cute Kitty Boo Boo hair clips (dice and ladybugs), and a Hot Toffee lolly necklace in raspberry red (I love this sooooo much). I missed out on getting a hat from The Seamstress and The Daughters as they'd sold out by the time I had a chance to have a little shop and I didn't really have a good chance to have a proper look at everything inside the hall because it was just so crowded all day!

I'd like to send a big thankyou kiss to Helen of Ruby 2 Go Go fame for starting up such a great team. It's really amazing! Big thanks go to the rest of the BrisStyle committee members for all the work done behind the scenes to make the market the success that it was.

I also want to say a big thankyou to Rebecca from Edward and Lilly for letting me use her rather lovely camera to take some photos of my stall. Can you believe that I forgot to take my camera? I had all these plans of taking photos of every stall there but I couldn't. I'll be packing the camera the night before the December BIDM!

Last but not least, I'd like to thank my baby brother, Matt for helping me out on Saturday.

Thanks to, to everyone who took home a little Jettas Nest and/or stopped by to say hi! Bring on December!!!

PS. I'll be re-opening my etsy store soon. I was expecting to have heaps of stuff left over from Saturday to stock it to the hilt with but there's not much left so I'll be working on a few things to restock it with over the next week.

Wasn't it the most wonderful market? I was one of those "insiders" and any plans of catching up with you "outsiders" flew out the window once the crowds arrived. Your stall looks fabulous and I'm glad you had such a successful day.

How good was it!!!! I finally had the chance to have a look around toward the end of the day, and when I came to your stall there was just two brooches left and your husband told me you'd pretty much sold out of everything. Fantastic!!! You really do make such awesome stuff - I'll be keeping an eye on your Etsy shop when it opens. Still keen on a gorgeous pinny for Kate :)

It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.
